« What silence now! It is the time when the wood around makes us hear the wind whisper that moves the branches waiting for the snow. »
We use grape marc that comes from selected plants: only in this way we obtain grappas with a remarkable personality.
For months, the distillate soaks the barrel wood, catch its essence and achieve the typical amber colour. It fills up in roundness and smoothness.
Francesco Dal Toso, creative inventor of grappas, becomes an interpreter of an ancient tradition, easily moving around alembics and grape marc.
Each product is the result of a deep knowledge of what the territory can offer: culture, awareness, working process, excellent raw materials.
We supply in Italy and more than 50 countries in the world.
Our heart is Venetian: the tradition ties us to Asiago and its history; the origin and the current headquarter are in Barbarano Vicentino.
From the territory, we have inherited the creativity, the inventive, the desire of experimenting.
Asiago. In a small laboratory crowded of alembics, herbs and spices, the young chemist Giovan Battista Rossi prepares elisirs with China calisaya and royal jelly for the vacationers. Achievements and eulogies – like the gold medal to the Grand Prix de Paris, in 1904 – incite him to launch the first industrial production of distillates in that area: the prestigious Distilleria Rossi – Asiago is born.

Francesco dal Toso acquires Distillerie Valbruna, a company based in Limena (PD), specialized in the production of pastry liquors. Thanks to the launch of new products and to the improvement of the sales network, the brand becomes soon the leader in the confectionery field.
